OraThe Jones Family Foundation is proud to honor the legacy of Ora G. Jones, one of the Foundation’s founders, through a commitment to providing post-secondary educational opportunities to graduates of Red Wing High School and Tower View Alternative High School located in Red Wing, Minnesota. Ora Jones felt strongly that educational opportunities should be offered not only to those students who have consistently maintained exceptional levels of academic achievement and extra-curricular participation, but also to those who have overcome obstacles or demonstrated future potential through academic improvement and personal growth. Both types of students will be deemed eligible to receive the Ora G. Jones Scholarship award. The advisory committee members take a very holistic approach in reviewing each application and look at all aspects of an applicant, not just academic achievement. As such, we encourage all graduating seniors from these schools to apply for this scholarship.
