Neela Mollgaard is the Executive Director of Red Wing Ignite. Neela has 20 years of experience in corporate and non-profit organizations. Prior to Red Wing Ignite, she served as the Administrative Director of the CARE Clinic, where she developed a free medical, dental, and mental health clinic for Goodhue County. In the private sector, she helped create and manage a national customer response network and was a consultant in launching new software products for an international medical equipment company.

Neela has been a resident of Red Wing since 1999. During this time she has served in various leadership roles with local non-profit and philanthropic organizations including the Mayor’s Advisory Panel, the Red Wing School Board, United Way, and she is the current board chair for Women Cents, an organization she helped found, which serves children and families. Neela has served on the Jones Family Foundation Board since 2010.

Neela earned her MS in Community Health at the University of West Virginia School of Medicine. She and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, and enjoying Red Wing’s outdoor opportunities with their son and two daughters.
